Trúc Lâm Đại Giác Zen Monastery

Trúc Lâm Đại Giác Zen Monastery is the first stop on this reverent day trip. This is the largest Buddhist temple in Sapa. The mystical atmosphere is created by the friendly stone statue that greets you at the entrance.
Even if you’re not a Buddhist, you can bow down to the golden statue of Buddha inside the temple and wish each other well. The path up to the temple is famously landscaped. There is also a lake near the temple that is home to a school of koi carp. The temple is open daily from 6am to 9pm.

Sapa Park is a great place to have lunch with local food and enjoy beautiful views of the river. There’s a large lake in the park, so you can take a stroll along the shore with your significant other. The park is an eight-color park where you can watch local artists perform during the day and a night market is held in the evening.
